Here are some interesting things about SK that you may or may not know.  Some of them are pretty cool and some are just funny.  Enjoy!     Jade

-Stephen King is afraid of the dark
 
-Stephen King scares himself with the things that come out of his head
 
-Stephen King sleeps with his whole body covered except his head because the monsters wont want to eat dessert first!
 
-Stephen King loves to get trick or treaters at Halloween and encourages kids to come to his house
 
-Stephen King was in a musical band of writers called Rockbottom Remainders.  They still play a little today.
 
-Stephen King missed the most part of 1st grade due to illness and was pulled out of school until the next year, it was then that he first began writing his own stories.
 
-On Stephen King's wedding day he wore a borrowed suit, had to take time off work at the laundry and though they wished him luck, they still docked him half a days pay.
 
-King is a devoted Red Sox fan.
 
-King owns his own radio station called WZON which he origionally bought to make certain there would always be hard rock on the air waves is now an all sports station. (WZON is it's name after his novel, The Dead Zone)
 
-Stephen King commuted to Lisbon High School from 1962-1966 in a converted hearse.  The girl who would eventually provide the inspiration for Carrie was part of his high school carpool.
 
-Stephen King appears in some of his movies (the pizza delivery man in Rose Red) so make sure you look for him, it's fun to see where he felt the need to put himself in.
